So let's get out and do something.
The constant rain has finally moved off the islands and today we have some sunshine! 
So we packed the doggies in the car and took off down Rt. 132, Kapoho road to the lighthouse.

Yeah, I know. It's a pop gun toy. But a BB gun helps keep out the varmints.
A unique Hawaiian Teriyaki Sauce by Mountain Apple Brands is found only in KTA Super Stores and is my particular favorite marinade. I use this marinade for just about anything from Stir Fry's to Huli Huli Chicken. It's a great flavoring agent as well as a marinade.
Take some Cornish Game hens and marinade them in the Mountain Apple Brand Teriyaki sauce just before grilling. Let the chicken marinade for at least an hour. I add some fresh grind cracked black pepper to the marinade.
Get a nice charcoal fire going.
Add some Hickory and Mesquite wood for some great Smokey flavor and you're ready.
Brush the sauce over the chicken and turn frequently.
Thus the name Huli Huli Chicken. Huli Huli means to turn over.
Our two hens are laying an egg an day. Soon the carton will be filled up.
I'm thinking about making Creme Brulee for Valentines day dessert.
