MARS

It all began with a face.  For almost 25 years, it has been the subject of debate and wonder.  Is there life on Mars?  When the Viking Orbiter sent back images from the Cydonia region of Mars in 1976, scientists were bemused by a rock formation that seem to cast an image of a face.



Could is be possible?  Could the Face be a gigantic monument erected by and alien race?  And if it were an alien race that built it, why did it look so human?  All sorts of theory's ranging from an ancient Egyptian pyramid connection to an alien race of Martians have arisen to try and explain what this strange image was. 



The face looks similar to the Sphinx in Egypt.

Then someone found something even more strange.



NASA'S Mars Exploration Rover Spirit captured this westward view from atop of a low plateau where Spirit spend the closing months of 2007.  Several bloggers and other enthusiasts have pointed to a tiny structure (red circle) on the Martian surface as a human figure and this is evidence of life on Mars.

Upon closer examination, here's what I found.



Proof positive that there is life on Mars.
