Lava is starting to move again. Since the earthquake swarm of June 17th, 2007, activity on Kilauea volcano has spawned a new lava fissure near the Pu'u 'O'o vent on June 19th, 2007. Following a magnitude 5.4 earthquake on August 13th, 2007, the lava began to flow towards the north east flank of the eastern rift zone.   more »
