Lava is starting to move again. Since the earthquake swarm of June 17th, 2007, activity on Kilauea volcano has spawned a new lava fissure near the Pu'u 'O'o vent on June 19th, 2007. Following a magnitude 5.4 earthquake on August 13th, 2007, the lava began to flow towards the north east flank of the eastern rift zone.   more »

Well, the elections begin with the Iowa Caucus that just ended yesterday. On to New Hampshire and by the time November 4th arrives the presidential political playing field will look much different than it does now.
