"E Komo Mai"
It's an early Christmas for the animals! Mahalo (thanks) to everyone that sent doggie and kitty gifts.
We couldn't wait, or rather, they couldn't wait to open their gifts.
Popoki kept asking, no demanding to open her gift.
Koa is asking, no begging to open his gifts!
Ok, ok, we give in!
Popoki love her gifts!
Koa and Meli love their chew toys!
They are willing to share their toys!
Although, Popoki and Brandy are not so much into sharing.
Well, they are all getting along. Popoki caught a rat last night and that's a good thing.
Maureen is scheduled to arrive in Hilo around 7PM tonight, so there will be lots of pictures over the next week chronicling our Hawaiian adventures on the Big Island.
I've been tracking her flight on the web.
The Hawaiian poetic name for our island is "Moku o Keawe". It is very different from the other island in the State of Hawai'i. The Island is named Hawai'i! Each of the island have their own name, but this island is the same name as the state. I believe the true nature of Hawai'i is here on this island.
E Komo Mai: What does that mean? Well, it means "come in" or "enter", and it also means "welcome". Welcome as in come in our house and be welcome.
Over the Christmas week into New Years will be parties and get togethers with friends and family! We hope your Christmas is filled with happiness and joy.
What's for Dinner?
Peanut crusted Opakapaka with steamed rice and vegetables!
Aloha!
