This is a picture of the eastern shore line on our way to Kapoho.
See the bolders?  They were thrown there by the ocean.  Yep, that's right.  Sometimes the storm surges are so powerful it will actually throw massive bolders up on the shore, and into houses.  You wonder why people build houses right on the shore.  Then afterwards, you just see the remaining foundation of the house.  The views are great, but the ocean is greater.
I wonder if they can even get insurance?
